About MePrinted notice, black text on white background. Reads: "Notice to shipmasters & others. Aberdeen Harbour. Towage of the port. Notice is hereby given, that the terms & conditions on which licences have been issued by the Aberdeen Harbour Commissioners, and rates of towage fixed by the said commissioners for the tug steam vessels plying at the port and harbour of Aberdeen, have been printed, and may be seen at the harbour office, Regent Quay, the dock master's office, dock gates, and at the captain pilot's office, North Pier, Aberdeen. And notice is hereby farther given, that in accordance with the said terms & conditions 'all vessels at sea requiring the steam tugs shall make a signal in daylight by two flags (where best seen) and during the night by two lights, one above the other, so that the signal may be easily distinguished from a signal for a pilot. These signals to be taken down when the vessel is taken in tow.' John Angus, clerk to the Harbour Commissioners, 6 September 1869."Aberdeen Harbour Commissioners
