REPORT of the METEOR, Irvine - [...] On 7th May, when leaving St. Jago de Cuba, passed the barque CARLIN CRAIG which was wrecked outside of the harbour; her hell was all under water, and apparently breaking up; main and mizenmast gone, but foremast and foretopmast standing.
