On Thursdav, the schooner HAWK (80), of Glasgow, Collins, from Demerara, in 64 days; sailed 31st Dec. with cargo molassi's and rum. Arrived at Milford 26th ult. and sailed 1st inst. Experienced a tremendous gale on 25th Jan. - winds westerly.

There is a HAWK schooner in the Post Office Aberdeen directory from 1854 which is 84 tons and belatedly gets 1838 build date having previously listed no date (1862-63, p.97), it may or may not be the same vessel.
