About Melaunched by the Arbroath Shipping Company in February 1864, the Randolph was owned and commanded by J Whannel of Arbroath. The barque was on the New Zealand trade. After 15 years in different Arbroath hands, Randolph was sold to a Muslim merchant in Bombay.
