About MeSince graduation from the Glasgow School of Art in 2003, Sarah Keay has taken part in numerous international group and solo exhibitions. She has gained many prominent commissions including to produce 3 large scale knitted drapes for the touring exhibition Cutting Edge, organised by the National Museums of Scotland. and to produce a piece of work for HRH Duchess of Cornwall.Her work has been included in numerous publications and she has undertaken residencies across Scotland. Awards and grants she has collected include to a Mission Trip to Japan and the Crafts Start up Grant awarded by the Scottish Arts Council. Recent shows include Origin and Collect (held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London). Both organised by the Crafts Council.Stockists of her work include Contemporary Applied Arts in London and Dan Ginza in Tokyo. Sarah has recently been commissioned by A and C Black books to write Jewellery using Textile Techniques due out summer 2009.
