Thomas Thomson

Gunsmith, active Aberdeen 1837 - 1869
About MeThe first reference to Thomas Thomson in the Aberdeen Directory is in 1837/1838, describing him as a "Gunmaker" and he continues to operate in various locations in the City until 1862/1863. In the remaining Directory entries to 1868/1869 he is described as "late gunsmith", perhaps suggesting that someone briefly continues the business under his name.

There is also an advertisement in the Aberdeen Journal, dated Wednesday 7 November 1860:
"Under Gamekeeper / SITUATION Wanted, by a Young Man as UN- / DER-GAMEKLEEPER. / Apply to THOMAS THOMSON, Gunmaker, Aberdeen. / 5th November, 1860"
