HistoryAberdeen's First Female General Practitioner. Born in Fyvie she studied in Edinburgh and Dublin before returning to Aberdeen to open the city's first Ladies' Medical Practice in Chapel Street in 1896. She also worked as a medical examiner for the Colonial Mutual Assurance Society and became the first woman member of the local branch of the British Medical Association.Location Info26, Chapel Street
