About MeThe well features a sheild upon a grey granite block. The central sheild features two wolves heads and a sailing ship. Above is a knight's helmet. Acanthus leaves decorate the sides. The words SALVES PER CHRIST are featured on a ribbon below. These are contained in an outer sheild with three plume like shapes flanking each outer edge. A verdigns covered wreath is surmounted at the very top. The date 1891 is on the opposite side of the plinth. The sheild on this side has the entwined initials DS.
