About MeAn impressive tapering and crenellated tower of random granite rubble with rough hewn quoins erected on a square coursed rubble plinth. The monument is surrounded at its base by two rows of flagstones and the remainder of the area is gravelled with seats on the East and West sides. There are four granite tablets with inscriptions recording the names of the fallen. On the East and West sides the tablets bear the names, ranks and units of those who fell in the First World War. On the South side are the names and units, of all services, in two columns, of those who fell in the Second World War.see also http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/warmemscot-ftopic1122.html
