About MeThis elegant afternoon dress was purchased from Madame Hay's salon in Albyn Place, Aberdeen, in 1934 by Dr. Ann Edwards when she was aged 26. The dress is of a very fine high quality, made in a fine silk printed with a subtle floral pattern in blues and pinks. It is fitted and the panelled skirt falls to mid-calf, as befitting dresses worn by young ladies for an afternoon's shopping, visiting friends or taking tea. The neckline and cuffs are trimmed with small ruffs.
