About MeThis dusky pink silk two-piece wedding dress has a bodice and skirt. It was made for the bride at Pratt and Keith, the 'foremost clothing outfitters' of Aberdeen in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Married in 1911, the bride may have chosen the colour pink as it was common during this period for dresses to be worn again after the wedding day. The dress has lavish detailing typical of the Edwardian period including lace, Russian braiding, frogging and pleated frilling.
