About MeThis neckpiece is one of a small collection of body adornments demonstrating the results of the joint research of the two makers into new technology.

The collaboration between Keith and Morris looked into metal techniques applied to textile structures. Specifically they have worked with Electroforming, which replicates sculptural shapes with partial or minimal layers of fine silver, combining potential combinations of soft and hard forms.

This is what can be seen here where the silver electro layer has followed the soft shapes of the textile cord and textile floral decoration.

More About Me

Does anyone else see this object as surreal, possibly a little creepy? It appears as if it may start moving, like some sort of sea creature.
