About MeA pair of embroidered sleevebands The embroidery on this pair of embroidered sleevebands demonstrates the typical Chinese 'Imperial Style' during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911).It depicts a garden on a yellow ochre silk background with diamond and roundel woven patterns. All the motifs including various flowers, a bridge and rock are embroidered in Peking knot and outlined with heavily twisted stitches.
