About MeArticle printed in an unknown newspaper, related to an exhibition of around thirty of McBey's oil paintings about to open at Messrs. Colnaghi's, 144 New Bond Street. The oil paintings were to be exhibited alongside accompanying drawings, where the subject of each was Venetian, the article claims that these were created after McBey "spent two consecutive summers in the Queen City of the Adriatic."

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.
