About MeLetter from James McBey to friend and art collector H. H. Kynett, dated 30 September 1954, in which McBey gives a general update of his recent activities. These included meeting a picture dealer near Bond Street, and meeting two art directors for lunch at the Cafe Royale. McBey also tells Kynett that he should expect a parcel of fifteen watercolours "in due course."

The letter consists of one sheet handwritten in pencil.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
