About MeLetter from James McBey to friend and art collector H. H. Kynett, dated 7 October 1941. The letter thanks Kynett for getting McBey permission to sketch in Chicago, and states that a letter of thanks will also be sent to George Hartford.

McBey also talks about the techniques used to create the "Mystic Drawings", which Kynett had just paid for, and discusses when he may complete a portrait of Kynett.

The letter consists of one page typewritten.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
