About MeLetter from James McBey to friend and art collector H. H. Kynett, dated 18 December 1955. McBey confirms that the thirty- three works on paper, originally being transported to Kynett with Hortense Loeb aboard the Andrea Doria, untill she died, were now with Kynett's secretary. He then asks if Kynett had managed to look at them, and tells him that he received the book "Travels with Trivia."

See ABDAG008310.99 and .100 for more information about Hortense Loeb and her journey on the Andrea Doria.

The letter consists of one sheet typewritten.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
