About MeModel of an Aberdeen Clipper Ship. One of a series of half hull models sent by Halls for an international exhibition at Glasgow in the 1880's. Halls sent 8 models to the exhibition, all of vessels that were early examples of their type or Clippers with their distinctive pointed bow.
CHRYSOLITE was the fastest sailing vessel afloat in the early 1850's and held the record for the fastest voyage from China to Britain.
