About MeThis dish was thrown on the potters wheel as a circle and then reshaped by taking out a leaf-shaped piece of clay and pressing the sides together to fom an oval dish.
The decoration was created using trailed white slip on wet black slip and comprises three stripes across the centre and two stripes on either side. This dish has a galena (lead) glaze.
