About MeThis painting demonstrates a clear link to both environment and industry, and how technology impacts on the natural world. There is also an ethereal quality to the work, highlighting the unreality of the scene by placing it inside a glass vessel. This imagined landscape speaks of nature’s triumph over humans and demonstrates hope in the environment that it can bounce back and survive human despoilation.

Polish-born artist Tomasz Wrobel studied for an HNC at North East of Scotland College and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. He continues to live and work in Aberdeen.
