About MeGrey corded silk dress comprising plain fitted bodice trimmed with black silk, also featuring a square bertha style collar in black lace and leg-o-mutton sleeves, and skirt with fullness at the back.

This dress originally dates to the 1880s but was altered in the 1890s when skirts were straighter and the sleeves fuller. Grey trimmed with black is normally described as suitable for half mourning the last stage of mourning.
