About MeThis vase features a flared rim with moulded red kidney-shaped caps of the lingzhi fungus. decorating the body. It was made during the Qing dynasty, which was the last imperial dynasty before the formation of the Republic of China.James Cromar Watt was an artist, architect and jeweller, who was born and lived in Aberdeen. He travelled in China and collected ceramics and artefacts which he bequeathed to Aberdeen Art Gallery.
