About MeThis waistcoat, blouse, skirt and coat ensemble not only demonstrates Bill's flair for designing tailoring, but also his preoccupation with forms found in nature. He had a unique ability to successfully translate natural motifs into his designs without compromising the style of the outfit. In this example the seashell has been used in repeat to create the printed blouse, whilst the skirt and waistcoat are fashioned from a heavy cream satin reminiscent of the lustre found on shells.
