About MeHaving met Marguerite Loeb in Philadelphia over the next few weeks James McBey pursued her unceasingly, writing entreaties to meet, and filling them with amusing sketches that quickly won over her affections. James and Marguerite took a short holiday in Bermuda, where this watercolour was painted and were married on 13 March 1931. The following day they sailed for Britain.J. Beattie Scott
