About MeLustre vase with bamboo pattern designed by Bernard Moore at his Stoke-on-Trent workshop in 1905. Like many individual potters working at this time, Moore was particularly interested in glazing effects. He carefully researched and copied Oriental and Middle Eastern glazes, producing high quality crystalline, flambé and lustre glazes. His high temperature copper red was particularly successful.
