About MeTwin handled vase with brown cornflowers designed by William Moorcroft for James Macintyre's pottery. This tube lined pattern known as 'Brown Cornflower' featuring red and purple flower heads, was introduced in 1910. It was a revival of an earlier pattern executed in paler colours, but by this time Moorcroft favoured darker colours.

Moorcroft left Macintyre & Co when the company decided to discontinue production of Art Pottery in 1912.
