About MeEdward Onslow Ford studied painting in Antwerp and Munich. There he was advised to change from painting to modelling and became a sculptor. He was a leading exponent of the New Sculpture movement, which prized individuality over breadth. His work often seeks to capture an elusive, spiritual ideal and mythological female heads were a favoured subject.
More About Me

A 'Bacchante' is a priestess or follower of Bacchus, the Roman God of wine and fertility. He seems like a fun God to follow.
