About MeThis multifunctional service vessel (MSV) was built in 1977 and spent over twenty years in the North Sea providing support services to offshore installations. This highly manoeuvrable vessel could provide diving and ROV services as well as fundamental repair work on pipelines, hyperbaric tie-ins and mud removal.

Uncle John was named after the vessel's original owner (John) Houlder Offshore Ltd, who devised the MSV concept.
