About MeA Jacobite wineglass with an ogee bowl featuring a wheel engraved rose and thistles design. The glass is set on a double series opaque twist stem and conical foot.

This type of stem was achieved by the introduction of rods of opaque white glass placed vertically into a mould, before clear white glass was poured in. The glass was then heated and drawn out to create the pattern. These are sometimes also known as cotton twists.
