About MeThis wineglass features a vertically ribbed ogee bowl, set on a double series opaque twist stem and conical foot.

This type of stem was achieved by the introduction of rods of opaque white glass placed vertically into a mould, before clear white glass was poured in. The glass was then heated and drawn out to create the pattern. These are sometimes also known as cotton twists.
More About Me

The "cotton twist" stem was produced by inserting white glass rods vertically into a mould before pouring clear glass around, then heating and turning.
