About MeA wineglass with a round funnel bowl on a double series opaque twist stem and conical foot.

This type of stem was achieved by the introduction of rods of opaque white glass placed vertically into a mould, before clear white glass was poured in. The glass was then heated and drawn out to create the pattern. These are sometimes also known as cotton twists. This glass dates roughly to the year seventeen-fifty.
