About MeThis brass vessel is created from sheet metal which appears to behave like folded paper. Here the comparison ends as metal is extremely stiff and requires strength and skill to fold in crisp lines. The surprising surface texture, like scattered raindrops is achieved by a chemical patination, which also alters the original colour of the metal. Particles of tin are also fused onto the surface to give a burnished silvery texture.Exhibitions
