About MeLarge round porcelain bowl with distortion to form a soft and sweeping step. Sarah-Jane works mainly in porcelain and translucent cool coloured glazes.
She is one of Scotland's leading young studio potters and in 2001 received a Scottish Arts Council Award for Individual Development.

Greatly influenced by the strength and peace of the Scottish mountains the artist invites the viewer to see her pieces as landscapes. The translucent and pure quality of the cracked glaze is suggestive of ice.
