About MeThis one-piece princess-line day dress features a high neck, boned bodice, narrow sleeves and straight fronted skirt with a train at the back. It was worn on honeymoon by Grace Scott who was married to William Whyte in 1880. The dress is sensibly made from fine but practical fabrics, which meant it could be worn again for best on special occasions like Christmas day.
