About MeLetter from James McBey to friend and art collector H. H. Kynett, dated 10 October 1955. In it McBey tells Kynett about recently having a swollen and infected left hand, and discusses drawings he planned to make based on sketches from his recent trip to Scotland. A list of these drawings was originally included with this letter.

McBey also talks about a chat he recently had with a friend who worked at the United States Legation.

The letter consists of one sheet typewritten.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
