Fragment of strap or belt, of single thickness. Grain-flesh stitching channel along one edge, stitch length 5-6mm. Part of this edge appears worn, with traces of stitch holes; replacement stitch holes are irregularly spaced, and not close to edge. Stitching channel may have been for decorative purposes. Faint traces of stitching along second long cut edge, also along this edge, seven irregularly spaced round holes, c 2.5 x 5mm. Worn. Cattlehide.
