About MeThe sitter, Jean Elmslie Henderson Findlay was born in 1885. She married Andrew Graham Murray, 1st Viscount Dunedin, on 12 July 1923, becoming his second wife. As a result of her marriage, Jean Findlay was styled firstly as Baroness Dunedin and as Viscountess Dunedin from 17 February 1926. She died in 1944.
