About MePrincess Elizabeth (1770-1840) was the seventh child and third daughter of George III. She was a talented artist and keen philanthropist.

In 1818 she married Frederick Joseph Louis, Prince of Hess Hamburg. In June of that year they moved to Germany. She died in Frankfurt at the age of seventy.
