About MeCarte de visite of a man standing by a chair, his left hand is on the top of the chair and his right is resting by his side. He is wearing a high-buttoned waistcoat, with a white shirt and upturned collar and cravat with matching trousers, heavy jacket and polished shoes. His hair is swept neatly to the left. Photograph was taken on a blank background with only the flooring visible. On the reverse side the photographer's name and address is stamped in red in the shape of a seal.Exhibitions
