About MeHand-built stoneware vessel from the artist's 'Blown Away' series - 'Over the edge and towards the North-East'. Fritsch's vessels often seem as though they belong to another world. The hand painted decoration and sculptural forms create contradictions between reality and perception. In this vase the blocks of pattern produce rhythm and suggest optical illusion.
More About Me
Fritsch’s work is influenced by her time studying harp at the Birmingham School of Music and then piano at the Royal Academy of Music. Can you play an instrument?
