General Edmund Allenby

General Allenby was nicknamed the "Bloody Bull" and was arguably one of the most successful British commanders of the war, drawing upon strategies developed from his experiences in the Boer War and on the Western Front in his Palestinian Campaigns of 1917 and 1918.
