NINIAN NORTH Platform
It was installed in the field in 1979 and first production was 1980.
The structure is relatively small consisting of a 10 module topside on two levels with accomodation for 80 crew.
The jacket weighs 15,600t and topsides 12,500t.
Originally commissioned and owned by Chevron, it was since 2002 been operated by CNRI.
In 2017 CNRI put forward plan for decommissioning which was approved by OGA in 2019. It is planned to remove topsides for recycling ashore whilst the Jacket will remain in position to be removed to derogation height by 2032.
