DescriptionExcavation of trial pits by A Cameron in 1997 in advance of development recorded no significant archaeological features or artefacts. Towards the west of the site the ground level had been raised earlier in the 20th century using demolition material, possibly the debris from tenements which had stood in the vicinity.
