About MeThe bride had the dress specially made for her wedding at King’s College, at the University of Aberdeen in 1986. The dress features pink and ivory, silk and satin with deep lace trim, slashed sleeves and a fitted bodice with scoop neckline and full skirt. The bride loved the Restoration period. A trend for historic fashions had been established in the 1970s. The fairy-tale wedding of Princess Diana maintained the popularity of romantic wedding fashions in to the 1980s.
