The dress features pink and ivory, silk and satin with deep lace trim, slashed sleeves and a fitted bodice with scoop neckline and full skirt.The bride loved the Restoration period. A trend for historic fashions had been established in the 1970s. The fairy-tale wedding of Princess Diana maintained the popularity of romantic wedding fashions in to the 1980s.
