About MeOval in shape and inscribed on both sides; table no. in centre: Side 1: Fintray Parish Church 1854/ 2 Table; Side 2: This Do in Remembrance of Me Luke XXII.19; But Let a Man Examine Himself 1.Cor.XI.28At the time of the issue of the token in 1854 the minister was The Rev. Alexander Allan, a local man from nearby Newhills, who had been a schoolmaster before entering the ministry. Fintray church, still in use today, is situated in an attractive wooded location just outside Hatton of Fintray village.
