About MeA rectangular token with cut corners; inscribed on both sides: Side 1: U.P. Church St Paul Street Aberdeen 1859; Side 2: This Do in Remembrance of Me 1859

The erection of St Paul Street United Presbyterian Church was begun in May 1842 and completed in April 1842. Situated a short distance north of the city centre it was in an area which once housed several notable churches before modern redevelopment swept them away.

The United Presbyterian Church was formed by the amalgamation of the Relief Church and the Secession Church in 1847. In 1900 a further amalgamation saw the U.P. and Free Churches combine as the United Free Church.
