About MeLetter from Eileen Arbuthnot Robertson, known to the McBey's as Billy Turner, dated 24th July. Billy explains that she had returned Marguerite's call but just missed her, and tells James that "there's such a lot of new developments to tell you." Billy explains that she and her husband, H. E. Turner, have gone "pleasantly mad" and were spending their "luck earnings" making films, just as they had always wanted to do. The letters explains that they were currently half way through filming "Saturday to Monday Sailiors" which was being shot at Pin Mill using their boat. Billy explains that they were about to go back for three weeks of sailing photography, and invites James to come along to help manage the boat while they were preoccupied with the filming.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
