About MeLetter to James McBey from friend and art collector H. H. Kynett, dated 14 January 1952. In it Kynett informs McBey that he is about to send a complimentary copy of book "The Mavic's Log" to Martin Hardie and Charles Walker. He also briefly talks about the book, which was devoted to a cruise in McBey's yacht, that took place twenty-five years before, then urges McBey to let him know if anyone else should be sent a copy.

The letter consists of one sheet typewritten on headed paper.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this letter.
