About MeSection from a Southebys auction sheet, dated 15 July 1955, which mostly contains listing for dishes and candlesticks. One of the listings was a dockyard ship model of a 50-gun ship, being sold by the executors for R. T. E. Gilbert, Esq. The sheet has been annotated in pencil, particularly in the section with the ship model.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this sheet.
