About MeCarte de Visite portrait of seated man, upper body. He is leaning with boths arms folded on the arm of a plush chair. His hair is styled and parted down the middle and he is wearing a suit with a white shirt and a necktie with a small pin in it. There is a number written in pencil on the reverse side: 'PH3907.' The photographer's details appear in full on the reverse side, c. 1880s.Inscribed underneath the photograph "R.STEWART, PHOTO ELGIN". Printed on the reverse "[lion] // R. STEWART // PHOTOGRAPHER // HIGH STREET // ELGIN // NEGATIVES KEPT.
